Baby Zebra Waiting For The Storm

The Story

On a safari near Cape Town, South Africa, I spotted this baby zebra against a dark stormy sky. I love painting zebras as their lines tend to give such great structural shapes to my painting. Baby zebras are vulnerable to attacks from predators, so zebras group together to use their striped skins as a defensive disguise mechanism. The combined shapes cause visual confusion to their predators, aptly called a “dazzle” of zebras.

How can I purchase this painting?
